Allergy Attack!

Posted By Mary Dane on July 7, 2008

Allergy is perhaps the most aggressive disease every carrier could ever deal with. There’s no stopping once it attacks you and it attacks you before you know it. It can be life-threatening as a matter of fact. And the most unfortunate of it all, once you have it, it cannot be cured. It can only be controlled.

Too bad I’m one of the people who have been dealing with this disease. I’ve gone to four doctors already in my entire years of having this disease, and the last one I’ve gone to was the one who told me that I’ll be dealing with allergy for the rest of my life. The least I can do is to learn how to control it. Some says it’s hereditary. Some says, people who can likely have it are those who have history of asthma while still a kid. But some says it has no origin at all and that everyone can have it. Well whatever it is, it’s just a real pain in the neck.

Here are possible areas where you can recognize the signs of allergy attacks:

Face. Itchiness, Redness(including the eyes), Swelling of the face and tongue.

Airways. Trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking

Stomach. Vomiting, Diarrhea

Total Body. Rashes, Itchiness, Weakness, Paleness

What commonly triggers allergies are the food you eat – usually eggs, chicken, seafood, dried fish, soy beans, eggplant, and more. It can also be triggered by dust, wind (isn’t this weird?), animals, insects, termites, and medicines.

My allergies attacks start by itchy eyes, and itch on the roof of my mouth, don’t know why. In spring I suffer allergies from pollen and fresh cut grass. In winter is Sinus time, LOL
